Worked across all creative phases of Madman Anime Festival — Australia’s premier anime and Japanese culture event. Responsible for visual identity systems, motion assets for paid and organic promos, stage content, booth graphics, and in-venue signage. I also led AV coordination alongside technicians to support live programming and on-site activations.
style guide
I was responsible for converting the static style guide into motion frameworks—building reusable templates, motion overlays, and video assets for use in promotional material, teasers, AV programming, and guest spotlights.
general video promo
Throughout each event cycle, I produced the majority of motion and video content used across paid advertising and organic marketing. This included everything from sourcing and editing footage from past events to developing a cohesive motion style guide. These elements came together to form dozens of promotional assets tailored for each convention season.
“Next-Up” stage screens
Designed and animated stage slides, holding loops, and “next-up” guides used throughout the convention weekend. These assets were key to keeping the audience informed and engaged, and were built to be modular and easy to update on the fly. I collaborated closely with AV techs to ensure visuals were timed and cued smoothly across multiple stages.
digital headers and banners
A suite of digital banners and web headers were designed for each event to support Anime Festival’s online presence and promotional campaigns. These assets were used across the website, social platforms, and partner sites—balancing event branding with clarity and high visual impact. Each piece was tailored to platform specs and optimised for visibility, click-through, and consistency across touchpoints.
